2023 Tuesday Ladies Golf League

Hooray!  It’s About Time To Golf!!  Association play will begin Apr 11.  We will have a table in the back room with our Riverside Tuesday Morning Ladies box, registration forms, and TREATS!  The box is for your registration, membership dues ($35.00), and weekly scorecards.

 REMEMBER IF YOU ARE A NINE HOLE PLAYER AND ARE GOING TO PLAY FROM THE SILVER TEES, PLEASE INDICATE THAT ON YOUR REGISTRATION!  Silver tee players will have their own flight.

 We will have the Ringer Board again this year!!  Make a note on your registration if you want to enter and include the $5.00 entry.

 MAKE ALL CHECKS PAYABLE TO RIVERSIDE LADIES GOLF      

 The weekly prize money is $3.00/week for 18 of our tournaments.  You may choose to prepay for the whole year ($54.00) or make payment each week.  There will be a manila envelope on our table each week for your name and amount paid for the weekly prize money.

 2023 Riverside Ladies Schedule

DATE   EVENT            

4/11, 18, 25  Open Play (Please put scorecards in Riverside Tuesday Morning Ladies                                                    box for handicaps)

             5/2         Blind Holes:  2 holes from the front and 2 holes from the back have been randomly                                  drawn. Scores from those holes will be subtracted from your total gross score.       

5/9         Points:  Give yourself the following points on each hole: 

               Birdie 4  Par 3  Bogey 1  Most points win. 

5/16      Mutt -n-Jeff:  Total score on Par 3’s and Par 5’s less ½ handicap.

5/23      Low Gross:  Play your best game – low gross wins.

5/30      Dots-n-Putts:  Put a dot on the scorecard for each hole that your drive is in the fairway.                           Keep track of putts.  At the end of play multiply fairways hit by 5 and subtract

              number of putts. Highest scores win.                                          

6/6         Day @ the Bluff:  Stay out of trouble!   Give yourself a point each time you go out of bounds, into the water, into a bunker, three putt, lose a ball, or whiff.  Total points less than 10 win. 

6/13      Par 3 Throw Out:  Score is total score minus Par 3 scores.            

6/20      Fewest Putts: Play your game/keep track of putts/fewest putts win.

6/27      Low Net: Full handicaps subtracted from gross scores.

            7/4         Fourth of July  -  No Association Play

7/11      Tic-Tac-Toe: Take a Tic-Tac-Toe sheet and record your score (as you play the holes)

             in any box you want. Try to get as many Tic-Tac-Toes as you can.  Please keep a

              scorecard for posting scores.

7/18      T & F: Score is the holes that start with T or F (2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15)              

7/25      O-N-E-S: Score is the holes that start with ONES (1, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 16, 17, 18)

 8/1         Criers:  AFTER PLAY 18 hole players circle 4 holes and 9 hole players 

                circle 2 holes to throw out. Winners will be lowest score on remaining holes.

 8/8         Blind Partner:  After play, partners will be randomly drawn and low scores of

               combined partners win. 

8/15      Low Net:  Full handicaps subtracted from gross scores.  

8/22      Nassau:  Low Front Nine – Low Back Nine – Low Total (all gross)

8/29      Guess Your Score:  BEFORE PLAY guess your score.  If you shoot within

             3 of your guessed score-WINNER

                          box to establish handicaps.

May 3      Nassau:   Low Front Nine - Low Back Nine - Low Total (all gross)

May 10    Points: Give yourself the following points on each hole:

                    Birdie 4   Par 3   Bogey 2   Double Bogey 1     Most points win.

May 17     Criers:  AFTER PLAY 18 hole players circle 4 holes and 9 hole players circle

                    2 holes to throw out.  Winners will be lowest score on remaining holes.

May 24     Lagging: When all players have landed on the green, closest to hole gets 3 points, next closest

                    gets 2 points, next closest gets 1. Farthest away 0. Most points win.

                   randomly drawn.  Scores on those holes will be subtracted from your

                   total gross score.    

June 7      Bluff Trouble: You get a point if you go out of bounds, go in the water, go in the bunker,

                      three putt or lose a ball or whiff. TOTAL points less than 10 WIN. 

June 14   Low Net:  Full handicaps subtracted from gross scores 

June 21   Blind Partner After play, partners will be randomly drawn and low scores of the combined 

                   partners win.

June 28   Low Gross:  Just play golf – Low gross scores win.  

July 5       Guess Your Score: BEFORE PLAY guess your score.

                    If you shoot within 3 of your guessed score -- you win

There won’t be a social but look for treats on our table in the back room of the clubhouse. Call the golf course for a tee time and bring your registration form with the $35.00 dues to deposit in the Riverside Tuesday Morning Ladies box.

It’s open play for the month of April with tournament play beginning May 3rd.
